Montana Feed & Fuel Launches New Website
Article published on Sun, 1 Jan 2006 0:00:00 -0700Montana Feed & Fuel has developed a new website to distribute important information about the Ethanol Industry in Montana. This Website and RSS feed will provide you with the latest updates to news and developments as our exciting project matures into a fully operational plant.
Briefly, Montana Feed & Fuel intends to meet state-law mandated ethanol production by building a state of the art ethanol production facility.
Our goal is to produce 50 million gallons of ethanol per year using feed grains such as corn, wheat and barley.
This ethanol production plant will be located in Southeastern Montana near Miles City in Custer County. The design will use a coal-fired plant for energy.
We expect to consume approximately 14.5 million bushels of corn, wheat or barley each year.
Montana has an estimated 50 million gallon-per-year ethanol market. We expect to competitively supply ethanol into the Montana market and sell about 125,000 tons of distillers grains to nearby cattle feeders.
Our coal-fire facility will provide stable energy at a low cost. Coal is readily available from nearby coal mines.
From time to time, we will update our site with important new developments. Keep track of this expanding industry and Montana Feed & Fuel by often visiting our site or linking to our RSS Feed.
